LOGIN Frequently Asked Questions

Your PIN is a unique identifier that enables the system to identify you and grant you access to your account.

It is critical that you save your PIN. PINs can only be regenerated by users registering for the first time and pre-existing accounts are not able to regenerate PINs.

Please contact the PLB call center: 404-424-9966. You will be required to verify your identity to receive your PIN.

You can send an email to [emailprotected], and provide screenshots of your error messages.

If you have ever held a license with PLB, you will need to verify your personal information and credentials before you can access your profile.

If you have never held a license with PLB, you will need to create a new account. Sign up using your personal email address as your Username to apply.

The PIN will be sent to your email. You cannot generate another PIN for two minutes. Wait two minutes and generate a new email with your PIN.

If you still don't see the email with your PIN, check your spam folder. If you have multiple emails with PINs in your spam folder, use the PIN in the most recent email.

If it is not in your spam folder, please contact the PLB call center: 404-424-9966.

The PIN will be sent to the email associated with your account. You will need to access your email, retrieve the PIN and enter into the field labeled *Enter Unique PIN.

If you don't see the email with your PIN, check your spam folder. If it is not in your spam folder, please contact the PLB call center: 404-424-9966. You must verify your identity in order to receive your PIN over the phone.

If you forgot your license number, go toLicense Search in GOALS to find your license number.

Check your email inbox for a confirmation that your application was received. The confirmation email contains your application number.

If you are unable to find the email with your application number, contact the GA PLB call center at (404) 424-9966.

Always use the name format that will be on your license card. Make sure you use proper capitalizations.

Update the email address on your account to a valid, personal email address that you frequently monitor.

We have seen intermittent issues with Hotmail accounts. This may be related to spam or security preferences set by the domain or by the end user. As we cannot assist with domain account settings, we suggest using a different email client

Your registered email address in the system is either invalid or emails from the Board are being filtered to your spam folder. Ensure that the email address on file with the Board is one that you frequently monitor. If your email address is incorrect, you may need to reach out to PLB to provide a valid email address. If your email address is correct, then check your spam folder to ensure email communications from the Board are not filtered as spam.

As a helpful hint, if you have visited our site before, you may want to clear your cache to ensure you are getting the most current information.

Printing Issues FAQ

This may be occurring due to various reasons. Try troubleshooting by performing the following steps:

  1. The browser settings may be blocking third-party cookies. Check Browser settings > See if blocking cookies >Do not block cookies.
  2. Clear cache and cookies in Browser > Close and reopen the browser
  3. Test alternative browsers.
  4. ⁠If using a VPN, please try generating while not connected to the VPN.

GOALS (Georgia Online Application Licensing System) is a new technology system implemented by GA SOS PLB.

GOALS is an enhanced licensing management system launched to expedite and streamline the issuance of professional licenses across Georgia.

Yes. However, online applications will only incur a $5 processing fee, while paper applications will have a $10 fee.

Yes. Processing fees are now dependent on how you submit your application. Online and kiosk applications will only incur a $5 processing fee, while paper applications received in person or by mail will incur a $10 processing fee.

Applicants will be able to use both iOS and Android mobile devices as well as desktops, laptops and tablets; Google Chrome should always be used as the browser.

A series of questions will be provided by GOALS to guide the applicant to the licenses for which they are qualified.

Yes. All applications need to include all required documentation in order to be submitted. Incomplete applications will be saved for 30 days. After 30 days, if the application is not complete, the application will be canceled.

Once an application is in submitted status, an Analyst can extend the due date of the third-party request if proof has been provided about making a third-party request.

The applicant can submit the required documentation via the amendment process on the GOALS portal. The applicant will have 60 days to respond to the Deficiency Notice.

Yes. The applicant will need first to create a request for appeal. Once the request is processed, the applicant will then be scheduled accordingly.

Navigate to the License Page and locate the tab labeled "Generate Pocket Card," then click on it to print the license.

Applicants can only submit one application per license type and application method (renewals, inactivation, etc.); GOALS will not allow a secondary application for the same license type.

Applicants can submit more than one application if submitted to different boards. GOALS guided workflow will inform the applicant if their specific applications are allowed.

A link will be provided to the third party to submit the necessary documentation

Yes. Sub-license info will be displayed on all licenses when printed.

Fines can be in person or online via GOALS.

Supplemental documentation for complaints can be submitted via GOALS.

Yes. An email confirmation is automatically generated and sent to the applicant when a case is closed.

No. To be entered as a participant in the complaint record, it is not required for a Respondent to be licensed.

No. However, if there is a continuing education audit, the application will be flagged and processing paused until the continuing education documents are submitted.

There are some documents available on GOALS that can be completed online. Other documents need to be downloaded, completed offline, signed offline, and then uploaded to GOALS.

Yes. However, the applicant must select “military” in the application in order for the application to be flagged to be expedited.

Yes. The Payment section displays a receipt of the transaction.
