Blood the last vampire, an anime that is okay, I thought this was a prequel, sequel, or even a side story of blood c, because the mc's name is both "saya" Even though in this movie version there is no family surname like in blood c where the mc's name is kisaragi saya, and in blood + otonashi saya, in the last dark movie there is no family surname of saya / mc from this movie.

If you ask why you are interested in this side story/prequel/sequel of blood c, yes as simple as because the story always makes you curious, like how it will ...

Mixed Feelings

I was so excited to finally get around to this one, I immediately was interested in the characters and their possible backstories, the artstyle and the vampire concept.....but unfortunately it was over almost as soon as it started....and that was the real bummer...cuz i was actually into it. i didnt realize it was gonna be so short. so there was no time for backstories or character development. it was just boom boom boom done.

if it was longer and they dove into the characters more i probably would have given it a 7...cuz it had potential for sure

regardless, i still think its worth a watch at ...

Blood: The Last Vampire (2000)

I see what they wanted to do, a darker setting with a schoolgirl, fine. It was awful, it had no soul whatsoever and felt so rushed it may as well have not been produced.

The art is fitting with its age and is pretty decent. The sound isn't bad either.

The characters are soulless and have no meaning, it tries to cover so much so quickly that honestly, it sucked. If they didn't try to build the world and give it reason and just let it be action then it would have been fine, but this way made it a worthless ...
